The Doran Barn is an iconic South Boulder scene. For me, it's a sight that encapsulates everything I love about where I live. An old wooden barn, kept in good condition, speaks to the agricultural history of the area and our modern day respect for remembering the past. The flatirons and mountains loom in the background -- who doesn't love the beckon of mountain adventures? And the current use of the space: a public walking and biking path, and a spot for cows to graze, remind me of how much I love getting out in our local open spaces and experiencing nature (and looking at the baby cows!).
